How This Clinical Study Was Conducted
Over a three month period, 28 women ages 41 to 71, participated in a clinical study conducted to evaluate the effect of 40 Degrees Younger™ with QStan/D™ on seven characteristics which pertain to the look and condition of the skin. The summary of these results are shared in the two charts below . . .
Medical Examination and Observations Study:
Conducted by an internationally known and respected Professor of Dermatology (now Professor Emeritus) of a world respected Ivy League medical school.
- Initial clinical observations were made of each participant and of each characteristic to be measured. Each characteristic was given a range of values from one to ten; one being the best condition and ten being the worst condition.
- Each participate was assigned a value (known as grading) between one and ten for each characteristic. The seven characteristics measured were: texture, clarity, discrete pigmentation, mottled pigmentation, fine wrinkling, crinkling and overall photo damage.
- A baseline was established initially for comparison to all subsequent observations.
- Clinical observations and grading were made after six weeks of using 40 Degrees Younger™ with QStan/D™ and after 12 weeks of using the product as directed. The results were then compared to the baseline to determine what, if any, changes were detected.
